Goofy OS is made for educational purposes, to help OSDev enthusiasts understand how operating systems function at a low level.

Goofy OS features a full graphical user interface (GUI) desktop environment, a complete FAT32 file system, advanced memory management, and comprehensive interrupt handling, all built without relying on any standard library (#![no_std]).

Goofy OS is a sophisticated operating system built entirely from scratch in Rust, demonstrating modern OS design principles while maintaining educational value. If you already have Rust installed, ensure it’s updated to the latest stable version. This is really important because we rely on a breaking change in Rust 1.91.
